Grading Categories

PC Grading Categories – Desktops & Workstations

• Grade A – Excellent Condition
  Near-new desktops with minimal signs of wear. No major scratches, dents, or casing damage. All ports, internal components, and hardware are fully tested and 100% functional.
• Grade B – Good Condition
  Moderate signs of previous use, such as light scratches or minor casing wear. Fully tested and operational. Grade B systems offer great performance at a lower price.
• Grade C – Fair Condition
  Visible cosmetic wear, such as noticeable scratches, worn paint, or minor dents. Fully tested but show signs of heavy use—best for internal company setups or personal use.
• Grade D / AS-IS – For Parts or Repair
  Major functional or cosmetic defects such as missing components, boot failures, or damaged cases. Non-functional or partially working, sold as-is for parts harvesting or repair.
• Grade Open Box – Like-New Condition
  These systems have been opened but show little to no signs of use. They may have been returned after brief testing or evaluation. Fully functional with packaging in various conditions.

Laptop Grading Categories

• Grade A – Excellent Condition
  Near-new laptops with minimal wear. No major scratches, dents, or screen blemishes. Fully tested, including all ports and components. Battery health is in excellent condition.
• Grade B – Good Condition
  Moderate signs of use like light scratches or minor casing wear. Fully functional. Battery holds a charge but may have slightly reduced capacity.
• Grade C – Fair Condition
  Noticeable cosmetic imperfections, such as scuffs, scratches, or minor dents. Fully functional but may require battery replacement sooner depending on use.
• Grade D / AS-IS – For Parts or Repair
  Major issues such as cracked screens, boot failures, or missing parts. Sold as-is for repairs or parts harvesting.
• Grade Open Box – Like-New Condition
  Laptops in this category have been opened but show little to no signs of use. Fully tested and functional, often in original packaging but may be repacked.

Note: Chargers or accessories are included only when mentioned. Battery performance is based on initial testing.

 

Monitor Grading Categories

• Grade A – Excellent Condition
  Minimal or no signs of wear. No major scratches, cracks, dead pixels, or defects. Fully tested and functional.
• Grade B – Good Condition
  Fully operational but may show minor signs of previous use such as light scratches or slight screen imperfections.
• Grade C – Fair Condition
  Visible cosmetic wear, such as scratches, small dents, worn casing, or noticeable screen imperfections. Functionally tested but shows heavy use.
• Grade D / AS-IS – For Parts or Repair
  Major defects such as cracked screens, dead pixels, or non-working components. Sold as-is for repair or parts harvesting.
• Grade Open Box – Like-New Condition
  Opened but barely used. No visible defects and fully functional, often repackaged for resale.
